You'll find the Pixi Rose Oil Blend in our August 2020 *Allure* Beauty Box. Should I judge something from its packaging? Definitely not, but I do give it bonus points for looking good next to the higher-priced bottles on my dresser, even though it's only $24 at the drugstore. One last point: I’m a sucker for gorgeous packaging, and this cute mint green bottle and gold dropper is no exception. You can also mix it into foundation to sheer out a full-coverage formula or press some on to the high points of your cheeks before your base for a dewy finish. For those mornings when my skin could use extra hydration, I add 2-3 drops of the Pixi Rose Blend to my moisturizer. I don’t have to worry about waking up to oil stains on my sheets. I’ll even use some on my cuticles before bed, and it instantly absorbs. The light floral scent reminds me that its time to relax and helps me wind down for the night. I apply this as the last step of my nighttime skin care to lock-in hydration. It has quickly become one of my favorite multitasking products. To be honest, I am not the biggest rose fan of floral-scented skin care, but if I were Goldilocks looking for her favorite, this one would be just right, not too powdery or perfume-y. Its rose scent is what really makes it feel luxurious. This drugstore oil is a mix of skin-nourishing oils including sweet almond, orange peel, pomegranate, jojoba, and rosehip, of course. But when I get to the Pixi Rose Oil Blend, which is the last step of my morning and night skin ritual, I pause and smell the roses - literally. I apply most of the products without a second thought, my mind already formulating my daily to-do list. Well, my skin-care routine is one of those things. You know when you’ve done a task so many times that your brain is just on autopilot.
